Accenting the contemporary design, Carter used stainless steel tiles for the back splash in conjunction with the shiny black granite countertops. Keeping things simple and clean by just using a single orchid at the end of the bar for the center piece. Low bar stools were placed at the counter to not to inhibit the space from the living room side. Pulling reds and creams together for an Asian-inspired bedroom keeps things serene and feminine in a generally masculine condo. Using a solid black walnut and maple contemproary bed gives the room a distinct modern flavor with the warm earth tone bedding.

Jeremy Carter was one of several talented designers chosen to make 2008's 417 Idea Home shine. With two second level bedrooms, and a glamourous dining room, Carter put his design talents on display, all while keeping with the flow of the entire home.

Bringing the outdoor rock inside around the fire place gives the French home a more old world feel, which is contrasted with the clean lines of he stainless steel appliances. The hand painted travertine back splash finishes the old world look of the house. A crystal chandeleir adorns the dining room and marketry inlaid table with the simple white linens invites guests with a formal classicl look, but adding the simple green pear blends the formal and mordern classical looks together.
